It is said that for the economy of any country 25% land must consists of forests but Pakistan comprises only 4.8% of forests land. The increasing rate of population in Pakistan is causing decrease in this percentage day by day. The interpreter of Punjab fast association Muhammad Javed khan said that, due to this increasing rate of population there will be no forest left on the land of Pakistan after
20 years.
We have lost 33.2% forest during 1990 to 2010. Each tree produces 260 pound oxygen per year and the oxygen produced by the trees grown on one acre is sufficient for 18 people for each year.
